The first stages of preparation begin

Well the first pieces of gear are starting to arrive and the preparation begins.
This lovely set of pannier rails from Outback Mototek arrived today and with minimal fettling of the plastics they were fitted in no time at all.
I’m really impressed with this product as it’s pretty sturdy, well made with good, well penetrated welds and a durable clean finish. On top of that my regular KREIGA pannier system slotted straight on, I travel in a minimalist fashion and this, along with a roll bag for my tent and sleeping gear will pretty much see me through.
Tyres should arrive tomorrow, all is coming together nicely.
Maybe I should actually ride it too!!
